The Red Lake Nation (northern Minnesota) Boys & Girls Club has two units, one in the heart of the Red Lake Community and the other located on the reservations northeaster shores of the lake at Ponemah, MN. Both locations are headed by Thomas Barrett, a Red Lake Band member and resident of the community of Little Rock.

Thomas Barrett has been a Hip-Hop artist for many years, he also has numerous small business ventures including Big Stone Ent., a DJ service that offers a variety of entertainment options.

The Red Lake Nation Boys & Girls Club has grown tremendously since Mr. Barrett’s time as the Director. I believe it is his experience in the entertainment industry that has helped excel the Club from standard programming to the notorious events they host today.

The Red Lake Nation Boys & Girls Club in Red Lake is having “Valentine Spirit Week” which begins today, each day will have a different theme and will close out the week by hosting a Valentine’s Dance and Lock-In this Sunday, February 16th from 6pm to Midnight.

This coming Saturday February 15th, the Ponemah Boys & Girls Club will host a Valentine’s Round Dance Social with contests and specials:
